Bangladesh will meet Pakistan in the second T20I on Tuesday, July 22. The hosts won the first T20I in a dominating fashion, as they bundled the visitors out for just 110 runs. While Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson blamed the pitch for behaving very poorly, the visiting batters also played a few lackluster shots to gift their wickets away. They have got to make a quick turnaround in the second T20I, or else Bangladesh will seal the series in the second T20I today.

One wonders which Pakistan will turn up today, as inconsistency has always been their friend for decades. Like in the first T20I, they failed to even compete against Bangladesh. Over the last two years, Pakistan's form has massively dipped in the shortest format of the game. They have lacked X-factor players and power hitters - the two main ingredients for success in the T20 game. Despite the PSL league completing a decade, there are hardly any players who have managed to grab eyeballs.

Bangladesh, who were also sailing in the same boat, have shown a bit of consistency, by beating Sri Lanka in the T20I series away, and winning the first game against Pakistan at home. While batting is still vulnerable, their bowlers have performed well.
