A month after the unfortunate incident at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru that took 11 lives and left 50 injured, the Karnataka state government have held Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and their partners responsible.

In a report submitted by the High Court, the state government has put all the blame on RCB, DNA Entertainment Networks, and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). The report said that RCB went ahead with the celebrations despite not being given permission for it.

The state government filed the report on June 12 and the decision was made public through court order on July 8. The state government assured saying that the organisers failed to give an estimate of crowd management details and ignored the non-clearance of grants and permissions and went ahead and scheduled the event.
