Dhanashree Verma created a storm on social media with a cryptic post seemingly addressing the recent controversy surrounding the divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal. The post comes after the leg spinner's photos went viral with RJ Mahvash attending the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final between India vs New Zealand in Dubai. The duo's post fueled the fire about the couple being in a relationship amidst Chahal's divorce from Dhanashree.
While it's a common tradition to always blame the woman during the divorce, Dhanashree didn't seem to like the criticism pointing at her. The content creator took to social media and dropped a cryptic post, which read, “Blaming women is always in fashion”. This post came after Chahal's post went viral with RJ Mahvash during the match and people made some fresh and nasty comments about Dhanashree's split.

More about Dhanashree Verma & Yuzvendra Chahal's divorce
For the uninitiated, the speculation about Dhanashree & Chahal's divorce began after the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram. The paparazzi began to make stories about the couple going separate ways after they had tied the knot in December 2020. Last month, the leg spinner's lawyer, Nitin K Gupta confirmed that the duo had filed for a divorce.
In an official statement to Hindustan Times, he said, "Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon’ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice."

Later, rumors began that Dhanashree had demanded 60 Crore alimony as a settlement. However, the YouTuber's family rubbished the rumors and hit back at the media.
"We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumors whatsoever. It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation. Reckless reporting like this only causes harm, and we urge the media to exercise restraint, fact-check before spreading misinformation, and be respectful of everyone’s privacy."
