Former England captain Nasser Hussain showered heavy praise on Jasprit Bumrah and compared him to the legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne.Â
Jasprit Bumrah was the lone warrior in the Indian bowling line-up, constantly troubling England’s batters with his sheer pace and disciplined line and length. His 5/83 helped India take a 6-run lead at the end of the first innings. His bowling effort was appreciated by legends, but Nasser Hussain went a level above with his commentary.

"Bumrah Leaves Batters Bamboozled, Just Like Shane Warne – Nasser Hussain"
The former England captain hailed Bumrah as the absolute best and compared him to Shane Warne, who famously bamboozled opponents with his leg-spin. Bumrah does the same with his fast bowling.
“There are two brilliant things to watch in cricket — a wrist spinner like Shane Warne bamboozling batters and a genuine fast bowler like Bumrah bamboozling batters," Hussain said on Sky Sports.
Hussain also hopes Bumrah stays injury-free so fans can enjoy his bowling in test cricket for at least the next two years. He suggested that young kids and upcoming cricketers should not try to replicate Bumrah’s action, emphasizing that only he can execute it so effectively.
"He is an absolute genius. That is the only word for him. You wouldn't want to replicate him. You wouldn't want to say to young boys and girls to go replicate this run-up or this action."

Bumrah – A Genius and England’s Biggest Threat"
He further pointed out that Bumrah is going to be a serious challenge for England, depending on how many Tests he plays in the series. Hussain predicted that Bumrah would take a heap of wickets.
"He knows what he is doing. He has perfected an art and he is going to be a thorn in England's side — not for five Tests, maybe three. In those three Test matches, he is going to take a shed load of wickets," he added.
