Pakistan takes on Bangladesh in the second T20I of the three-match series in Lahore on May 30. The match starts from 8.30 PM IST. The Men in Green won the first T20I by 37 runs having posted a score over 200 runs.
Bangladesh, under the leadership of Litton Das, succumbed to the pressure of the run chase and were dismissed for 164. The Tigers were rather ordinary in the match and their young players left no impact in any matter whatsoever.
Pakistan started playing the series just a few days after the end of PSL 2025 and managed a win in the first game. Bangladesh needs to win the second T20I to win the series. A loss will see them concede the series.

The timing of this T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh comes on the back of political turmoil in the country. Pakistan is almost playing this series in the middle of a war with India. The war was triggered by Pakistan itself. India's Operation Sindoor was a response to demolish the country and it resulted in a lot of losses in terms of their cricketing infrastructure.
The PCB gave a green signal to the series after a lot of apprehension. Initially, the BCB was also unsure about sending its players to Pakistan for the series. However, finally, they did after the PCB gave guarantee of players security.
Bangladesh have Mustafizur Rahman unavailable for the series as he is ruled out with an injury. Meanwhile, Pakistan are also without their senior players in Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan under their new skipper Salman Ali Agha. The team has invested in players like Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris and Abrar Ahmed besides experienced players like Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf and Shadad Khan. Hasan Ali the pacer, was the Man Of The Match in the previous game for picking up a fifer. Pakistan look poised for s series win heading into this contest.
