Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium was established in 2021 on the outskirts of Mullanpur in Chandigarh, Punjab. Named in honour of the last ruling Maharaja of Patiala, the stadium reflects both royal legacy and modern sporting excellence. This stadium has a maximum capacity of 38,000 and features modern LED floodlights to host day/night matches.
Since the stadium was established recently, it meets all international standards, offering modern amenities including top-tier dressing rooms featuring steam, sauna, and ice baths, a comprehensive gym, a well-appointed media centre, and comfortable lounges for players and guests. The stadium started hosting IPL matches in 2024, becoming the official home ground of the Punjab Kings.. Since then, it has been attracting large crowds, often producing a full house in most matches.
The surface here is a soil-based pitch, and it remains mostly dry on match days, which greatly benefits batters who enjoy the ball coming onto the bat. Spinners, however, become a lethal weapon on this surface during the middle overs.

The new PCA stadium is yet to host an international match across formats, although it has already hosted 10 IPL matches, including the playoffs in IPL 2025. It is scheduled to host its first international matches during the upcoming Australia women's tour of India, featuring 2 ODIs, along with India’s men’s 2nd T20I against South Africa.
