The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in consultation with the Women’s National Selection Committee, has announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 to be hosted by India.
Pakistan will be led by Fatima Sana, who will be leading the side in ODIs for the first time. She led the side previously in the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2024 and also in the World Cup qualifiers in Lahore earlier this year. Pakistan women will be playing all their matches in Colombo.
If the side eventually qualifies for the semi-final and the final, those matches will also be played in Colombo. Among the eye-catching inclusions is the uncapped right-handed batter Eyman Fatima, who recently made her T20I debut against Ireland, is part of the ODI squad.
